Yup. Woke up at 6:00am to be in St. George by 7:00am. Yuck.
Really cool, though. Definitely worth it.

You learn something new every day. And if not, you're being cheated.
hey kam, this is kelli. i followed facebook to your blog a while ago, and just saw your new one here so i thought i'd check it out. anywhooo... i just have to say: you are BRAVE! i have never been daring enough to donate plasma! and although sean goes pretty much twice a week, and comes home alive, i just can't stand the thought of that needle. that's cool though, it's a good thing to do and you get some extra money to boot. have fun with that :)
ReplyDeleteKel! First of all, My goodness, I miss you. Second, thanks for the comment! Donating Plasma was definitely weird at first, but it's not too bad now. I'm getting used to it. And the extra money is SUPER nice to have around. It funds my book purchasing habit. =]
ReplyDeleteI thought you were against it because they use the blood for cosmetics and stuff?????
ReplyDeleteAll the people I've talked to at Biolife say that's a myth that the Red Cross people tell, so that people will donate blood to them, and not plasma for money.
ReplyDeleteBiolife uses it for plasmapherisis stuff, from what I know.
I don't know. I just need money. haha. I'm a sellout.
no worries. been there, done that. :)
