June 29, 2009 - Lizard Tears

I shed some tears today over the death of my lizard, Tarkin.
However, I shed more tears (of joy) when I realized he was not dying, but shedding his skin. He is incredibly healthy.

I've never cried over a pet before, as I've never had a pet to cry over.

Strawberry Rhubarb pie is best when shared with a lovely roommate and a dear old lady named Doris.

June 27, 2009 - Veg Pledge

Katy and I have both pledged to be Vegetarian for 30 days.
This will be interesting, as I truly love me some bacon.

June 26, 2009 - LOVE

That's right.
I drove to Vegas and saw Beatles Love.
Cirque is phenomenal.
I will be going back ASAP.

June 25, 2009 - Mononucleosis?

I had my very first mono test today.
Good news: I don't have it.
Bad news: We're still not sure what's making me so sleepy.
Other than the anemia, probably.

June 24, 2009 - Fooly Cooly

Two words describe this show: CRACKED OUT.
I really enjoyed it, though.

Thanks, Joe, for introducing me to "Fooly Cooly" and letting me experience a few hours of a non-crack induced acid-like trip.

June 23, 2009 - Karaoke Bar

First time in a Karaoke Bar.
NOT!

First time I ever attempted to go to a karaoke bar, but then found that karaoke was canceled due to a pool tournament.

First time I ever DIDN'T go to a karaoke bar and stayed at home watching The O.C. and eating tacos instead.

Yum, tacos.

It WAS, however, the first time I've ever eaten homemade tacos on Taco Tuesday.
